Allen, Charles "Chip" Robert, 17 months old, passed away tragically on September 11, 2003. The life he lived, while short, was filled with happiness, joy and love. His sudden departure is not only a loss to his family, but to anyone who had a chance to know him. Chip and his two brothers shared a special bond which can never he broken. He will be deeply missed by his parents, Laine and John of Windermere; brothers Jack, 7, and Hank, 5; maternal grandparents, Lois and Richard Esterline of Fort Lauderdale; and paternal grandparents, Suzanne and Edward Allen of Windermere. Services will be held in Fort Lauderdale on Friday, September 19, at 10:00 a.m. at First Presbyterian Church, and in Orlando on Saturday, September 20, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Luke's Methodist Church, The family has chosen to honor the life of Chip by establishing a memorial fund in his name with the Make-A-Wish Foundation of America.
