Avis de décès de Charles-Raymond Stemley

STEMLEY Charles Raymond, 45, of Vernon died Monday, February 2, 2009, at the family home in Sparta. Born at Fort Lee, VA, he was the son of Eileen Stemley and the late Major General Gary A. Stemley.Charles attended schools in Ridgewood, NJ, and recently earned an Associate Degree in Anthropology from Sussex County Community College. As an Eagle Scout, he worked as an Assistant Scout leader and merit badge counselor for Boy Scout troops in Vernon and Sparta. He also volunteered at Newton Memorial Hospital, the Bee Hive, the American Red Cross of Newton, and was a member of the Christian Ministry of SCCC. He was a 4th Degree member of the Knights of Columbus, Marquette Chapter, of Our Lady of the Lake in Sparta and served as an extraordinary minister. Charles greatly enjoyed skiing, boating and golfing with family and friends. His other hobbies included model building for which he won several awards. Charles who is survived by his mother, Eileen, was a beloved brother to Jeannette and Jeffrey Dickinson of Sparta, Craig and Christina Stemley of Seattle, WA, Sharon and Mark Agnello of Mt. Airy, MD and a loving uncle to three nieces and two nephews. Friends and family are invited to the visitation from 2-4 and 7-9 PM on Monday , February 9, 2009, at Goble Funeral Home, 22 Main Street, Sparta. A funeral mass will be held at 10 AM on Tuesday, February 10, 2009, at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church.
