DUGGAN, Charles Lambert - It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Charles Lambert Duggan, peacefully at Lakeridge Health, Oshawa on April 1, 2009 at 76 years young after a short battle with cancer. Loving husband of 53 years to Sylvia (nee Medhurst), adoring father to Kathie Hill and Linda Buchanan, father-in-law to Ross Hill and Dennis Buchanan. Loving grandfather to Patrick, Serra, Dorian, Lindsay and Austin. Son of Violet Duggan and loving brother to June, Sharon and Ron. Visitation will be held on Monday, April 6, 2009 at Mount Lawn Reception Centre, 21 Garrard Road, Whitby from 7:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. A celebration of Chuck's life will be held on Tuesday, April 7 at 2 p.m. at All Saints Anglican Church, 300 Dundas Street West, Whitby. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to Lakeridge Health Cancer Centre, Oshawa. The family would like to thank all the wonderful nurses on the 6th floor for all their caring, compassion and support.
