Charles E. Denault, 88, a resident of White Springs, FL, died at Haven Hospice in Lake City, FL, on Thursday, December 3, 2009, after an extended illness. He was born in Massachusetts and served in the Navy during World War II. After moving to Ft. Lauderdale, FL, in 1949, he worked as an outboard mechanic and then moved to Debary, FL and owned an office supply store. When he retired, he and his wife traveled to all 48 states and then finally settled in White Springs, FL in 1988. His wife of 60 years, Helen Denault, preceded him in death in 2003. Survivors are his son, David Denault and his wife, Sue, Las Vegas, NV, two granddaughters: Debbie and husband David Halter and Julie and husband Robert Mash; four great grandchildren: Holly Halter, Steven Fuller, Dyland and Jason Mash. Graveside funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 12, 2009, at 11 A.M. at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Lake City, FL. Visitation with the family will be at 10 A.M. at Gateway-Forest Lawn Funeral Home on Saturday, December 12, 2009.
