ADAMS, Charles Albert Walter - Passed away at the St. Catharines General Hospital - NHS on August 30, 2007, in his 91st year. Predeceased by his beloved wife Doris Adams (nee Riley) in 1970. Survived by his loving daughter Helen and her husband, the late Ron Barnes (2005). Cherished grandfather to Christine and Christopher Barnes. Loving brother to Ernie (Norma) Adams, Norman (Barbara) Adams, Colin (the late Jean) Adams, Elsie (the late Albert) Ash, Helen (Jim) Rutherford, and Blanche (the late Jim) Boyle. Brother-in-law to Pearl Adams (the Late Roy Adams), and he is survived by many nieces and nephews. Charles was predeceased by his parents Elsie and William Adams, and by his brothers William (1944) and Allan (1944) Adams. With respect to Charles's wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held in St. Columba Church, 7 St. Columba Drive, on September 8, 2007, at 2:00 p.m. The Legion Branch #138, will hold a service at 1:15 p.m., prior to the memorial service. Inurnments to take place in Beechwood National Military Cemetery, on Wednesday, September 12, 2007, at 2:00 p.m. and in Holy Trinity Anglican Cemetery in Pembroke, on Friday, September 14, 2007, at 3:00 p.m. Arrangements have been entrusted to SIMPLER TIMES CREMATION SERVICES, (905) 687-8111.
