SPARTANBURG, SC-- Chalmes Eugene Gene Faust, 75, of 213 Convair Drive, died on Tuesday, January 2, 2007, at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. Born on March 21, 1931, in Spartanburg, SC, he was the son of the late William Arnold and Leola Ivey Faust. A graduate of Robinsons Business College, he was retired from the City of Spartanburg Fire Department after 36 years of service. He was a member of Roebuck Baptist Church and a U.S. Army Veteran of the Korean Conflict.Survivors include his wife, Pauline George Faust; a daughter, Gina Marie Lytle and her husband Alan of Chesnee; a half-brother, Richard Faust of Spartanburg; a step-brother, Billy Burgess of Spartanburg; and a grandson, Adam Lytle. He was predeceased by two sisters, Dorothy George and Margie Gray; and a brother, William Faust.Visitation will be from 7:00-9:00 PM on Thursday, January 4, 2007, at Floyds Greenlawn Chapel. Cryptside services will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, January 5, 2007, at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens Heritage Chapel Mausoleum conducted by the Rev. Dr. Tim Williams and the Rev.
