Loving mother of Michael Birbeck (Linda) and Alan Birbeck (Sheila), all of Thor old and the late Tracy Marie Tattrie (September 19, 1990). Loved grandmother of Marcus and Billy. Predeceased by brothers Don, Milton, and Gerald and sister Veronica. Member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 17 Ladies Auxiliary for 44 years. The fa mily will receive friends at the KARL A. HAMMOND FUNERAL HOME AND CHAPEL, 26 Ormond Street South, Thorold on Tuesday, April 6, 2004 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated at Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church (corner of Queen St. & Sullivan Ave.) on Wednesday, April 7, 2004 at 11:00 a.m. Vigil Prayers will be held in the funeral home on Tuesday at 2:00 p.m. and Legion Service on Tuesday at 7 p.m. Rite of Committal at Lakeview Cemetery, Thorold.
