GRAVEL, Carmen A. Peacefully on Wednesday June 16, 2010 at the age of 82. Dear daughter of the late Wilfrid Gravel and the late Rose Alba Morin. Her children will sadly miss her: Jean-Michel (J.M.) de Bretigny (Irene), Linda Meier-Szabo (Ernst), Robert Gravel, Susan Evans-Hagedorn (Carl) and Natalie Hagedorn. Eighteen grandchildren and three great-grandchildren as well as many numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, uncles and aunts from the Gravel and Morin family will also miss her. Her brothers Lucien and Jean predeceased Carmen. Special thanks to ""We Care Home Health Services"", her friends at Hampton Court Residence in Ottawa and many friends in Calgary, Pompano Beach and Syracuse as well as the Queensway Carleton Hospital medical staff for the care provided. Memorial Service will be held at Racine, Robert & Gauthier Chapel 180, Montreal Road, Ottawa (Telephone 1-613-241-3680) on Tuesday, June 22, at 11:00 a.m. For those wishing, memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Lung Association.
