CLINTON LAWRENCE JENNINGS - STARKSBORO - Clinton Lawrence Jennings, 89, passed away Monday, Sept. 3, 2012, at Bernadette Laberge's home in Vergennes. He was born Aug. 11, 1923, in Bolton, the son of Jessie and Alnora Jacques Jennings. Clinton worked and retired from General Electric after 20 years of service. He enjoyed fishing, watching RedSox and sitting by the campfire with his family. Family meant a lot to him! He was married to Esther Wells for 61 years, and she predeceased him in 2005. Clinton is survived by his children, Steven and wife, Pamela, and Stanley; his grandchildren, Krista and Todd Rochefort and Kyle Jennings; several great-grandchildren; youngest of 10 siblings and survived by his brother, Sidney and wife, Emma; several nieces and nephews. A very special thank you to the Addison County Home Health and Hospice, and the following people Dawn Martin, Karen Bennett, Bernadette Laberge and her sister, Teresa. Clint loved all you very much! Visiting hours will be held at Brown-McClay Funeral Home in Bristol on Friday, Sept. 7, 2012, from 5 to 8 p.m. A memorial service will be held 11 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 8, 2012, Brown-McClay Funeral Home in Bristol. Interment will be in Green Mount Cemetery in Starksboro. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made Addison County Home Health and Hospice, P.O. Box 754, Middlebury, VT.
