ObituaryBeverly D. Jones, 88, of Ft. Myers died May 1, 2004, she was born in Manchester, NH, the daughter of Charles H. and Betsy Dunbar. She graduated from U.N.H. Class of 1936 receiving her degree in Physical Education. She moved to the local area from Hilton Head in 1996. Beverly was a volunteer in many organizations and for many hospitals in the areas she lived. She enjoyed golfing and through out her life was a mentor to many women. Mrs. Jones is survived by her son and daughter-in-law Bruce and Nina Jones of Ft. Myers, her grandsons Christopher B. and Craig E. Jones both of Australia, her great-grandchildren May, Martha and Enoch, also her special friends Louise Molinaro and Elaine Ross. She was predeceased by her husband Leslie E. Jones in 1976 and a brother Hamilton Dunbar. The family will receive friends at the Ft. MYes Memorial Gardens Funeral Home on Friday 2-3 PM. Memorial contributions in her memory may be made to Humane Society of Lee County, Inc., 2010 Arcadia St., Ft. Myers, FL 33916. Graveside service and interment will be in the Arlington National Cemetery on May 28, at 1:00 PM.
