Betty Mae Matthews, 77, of Yonkers, died on May 14, 2002. Betty was born on September 1, 1924 to Edward and Elizabeth (Fagan) Rehm in Yonkers. She was educated locally and graduated from Commerce High School. She worked as an administrative assistant for First National Bank, Hertz Rental Car and Gestetner Corp. Besides her parents Betty was predeceased by her three brothers, Warren Rehm, Joseph Rehm and Edward Rehm and her sister Alice Majowski. Betty is survived by her husband Robert of Yonkers, her son Joseph Pace of Malone, NY, her two daughters Maureen Tostanoski of Valhalla, NY, and Karen Clare of LaGrange, NY. She also leaves behind her grandchildren, Lisa, Thomas, Christina, Sherman, Patricia, Laura, Stephanie, Michelle, Meghan, Jessica, Danielle, Danny - Michael and her great grandchildren. Visitation will be at Whalen & Ball on Thursday, May 16, and Friday, May 17, from 2-4 and 7-9 pm.
