Peacefully in hospital, Perth, Ontario on Thursday, October 18th, 2001, Bertha Victoria (St. Pierre) Dowdall in her 83rd year. Wife of the late Hilliard C. Dowdall (1990). Loved mother of Gertie (the late William) Emon of Calabogie, Dorian (Andy) Zwart of Burlington, Elaine (Barry) Tracey of Pembroke, Wayne (Sharon) Dowdall of Brooke and Russell (Lynn) Wilkes of Ottawa and the late Phyllis (Doug) Duncan of Amherstview. Dear sister of David St. Pierre of Kingston, Gilbert (Donna) St. Pierre of Brooke, Madeline (Mike) Nystoric of Edison, Alberta, Irene Bedour of Oso, Nora Dowdall of Maberly, Shirley (Gerry) Lee of Sudbury, Betty McMunn of Kingston, Margaret Serfin of Sharbot Lake and the late Frank and Allan St. Pierre. Bertha will be sadly missed by her sister-in-law Irene St. Pierre of Brampton, her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, family and friends. Friends may pay their respects at the Blair & Son Funeral Home, Perth, on Saturday, October 20th from 7 to 9 p.m. and Sunday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral service will be held in the Chapel on Monday at 11 a.m. Interment St. Stephen's Cemetery, Brooke.
