DELEVAN - Bernard Dombrowski, 87, of 2568 Lime Lake-Elton Road, Delevan, died Jan. 7, 2014, at Mercy Hospital.Born April 16, 1926, in Cheektowaga, he was a son of John Dombrowski and Agnes Wawrzinek. On Jan. 29, 1962, in Illion, he married Audrey (Kenyon) Dombrowski, who survives.He was a U.S. Army Korean War veteran, who served from 1952 to 1954 and was a retired dairy farmer who owned a farm in Freedom.Surviving in addition to his wife are four children, Linda (Robert) Green of Wilmington, Vt., John Dombrowski of Melburne, Fla., Jack Dombrowski of Pine City and Sandra Aguirre of Machias; nine grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.He was predeceased by his parents; three sisters, Estelle Hicks, Rose Carlson and Mary (Guenthier) Dombroski; and three brothers, Chester Dombroski, Joseph Dombroski and Henry "Hank" Dombroski.Calling hours will be held today (Jan. 24, 2014) from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at W.S. Davis Funeral Home, 358 W. Main St., Arcade 14009. A private service will be held at the convenience of the family with burial at Delevan Cemetery.
