BENNINGTON -- Funeral services for Mrs. Beatrice Williams were held from the Mahar & Son Funeral Home Tuesday, May 27, 2003 with the Rev. Norma Drosky, pastor of the First Baptist Church in Bennington, officiating. Hymns offered during the funeral service included “The Rose,” “Among My Souvenirs” and “Whispering Hope.” Words of remembrance were offered by Mrs. Williams’ grandchildren. Bearers were great-grandchildren, Dane Dickie, Stephanie Dickie, Tyson Kinney, Shawn Kinney, Travis Racicot, Cory Racicot and Robert Kinney. Burial took place in the family lot in Park Lawn Cemetery with the Rev. Drosky offering the committal prayers. Mrs. Williams, widow of Richard H. Williams, died May 22, 2003 at Prospect Nursing Home in North Bennington. Funeral arrangements were under the direction of the Mahar & Son Funeral Home in Bennington.
