Beatrice M. Chapman August 15, 2011 Beatrice M. Chapman, 84, formerly of Brick Church Rd., Weedsport, NY, passed away on Monday, August 15, 2011. Beatrice was born in Weedsport, NY, the daughter of the late Carl and Catherine Wolford. She graduated from Cato Meridian School in 1944. She was a member of the Labuff-Cole Legion Post Auxiliary. Bea was a loving wife, mother, sister, aunt, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was an avid animal lover, music lover, dancer and bowler. She is survived by her three daughters, Joy (Herman) Hudson of Wurtsboro, NY, Judy (Rick) Dauenhauer of E. Syracuse, NY, Janet Mudge of Elbridge, NY, and by her son, Terry Chapman of Rochester, NY. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, Heath, Eric, Shane, Betsy (Adam) Fay, Kevin, Jessica, Ryan, Brandon, Jessie, Jake, Kyle, as well as a great-grandchild, Jacob, and another on the way. In addition to her parents, Bea was predeceased by her husband, Earl J. Chapman; and her siblings, Hilda, Lyndon and Duane Wolford. Family and friends are invited to call from 4 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, August 18, 2011, at the Jewell Funeral Home, 8886 S. Seneca St., Weedsport, NY. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, August 19, 2011, at the funeral home. Interment will be at Weedsport Rural Cemetery, Weedsport, NY.
