ROWELL, Barbara May 10, 1928 - December 14, 2015Barbara Rowell passed away peacefully at the age of 87. Barb is survived by William, her loving husband of 64 years and her children: Bill, Joy (Dave), Robert (Karen), John (Sheri) and Joanne (Ernie). Barb was ''Nana'' to 13 grandchildren, their five spouses and 2 great-grandchildren. Barbara was born in Peterborough, Ontario. She was predeceased by her parents: Janet and Ernest Warne, her brothers: Max (Berna), Don and sister Lenore. Barb''s sister-in-law Hester Warne resides in Whitby, Ontario. Barb''s faith and trust in God was unwavering. As a Bible College graduate, Barb was involved in church ministry. She sang in many choirs including the Elgar choir in Montreal. Barb was known for her zest for life and her hospitality. She had a generous heart and loved to help others in times of need. We were truly blessed with a wonderful wife and mother, she will be dearly missed. A special thanks to Helen Bravo and the staff at CareLife Fleetwood.
