CHAPMAN, Barbara Jane 1953 - 2008 Jane left peacefully shortly after dawn on March 25, having shared with us her wicked wit and taught us many things. She is the dearly loved daughter of Harry and Marie Chapman, cherished sister of Laura, Anthony, and Victoria. Jane is the beloved aunt of Martine and Nicholas Paget and is very special to her sisters' partners Andre Juneau and Don Hansen. She was an adoring friend to the late Taz, her longtime canine companion. Jane has been loved, admired and will be deeply missed by Martine Vallee, Cathy Robinson, Susan Rodocanachi, Ruth Steinberg and many other friends, including Suma, Oden and others at the Joyful Land Buddhist Centre. The family would like to thank Dr. Susan Gick and the nurses from At Home Hospice. A reception to celebrate Jane's life will take place at La Favorita, 356 Preston Street, Ottawa from 1:30 to 4:30 p.m. on Saturday, March 29, 2008. It was also Jane's wish that family, friends and their dogs meet to remember her at Fletcher Wildlife Garden at a date to be announced. In lieu of flowers please make donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the charity of your choice.
