CARPENTER, BARBARA DIANNE , 70, passed away Wednesday, November 7, 2012 at Baptist Hospital East. She was born on February 11, 1942 in Jackson, TN to the late Robert Lamarr and Mary Lou Johnsey Davis. Dianne graduated from Jackson High School, attended 1 year at the Methodist School of Nursing in Memphis, TN, and retired from Zeon Chemical. She was most known for her love and devotion to her family. Left to carry on her memory are children, Ginny Reed (Kai Hardison), Susan McGovern (Jeff McEnaney), and Windy Gray (Burt); sisters, Gwen Ricketts, Jane Etheredge (Bob), and Bobbie Ann Smoot (Raymond); grandchildren, Tommy and Nick McGovern, Ryan and Brooke Gray; and aunt, Virginia Mills. A service in celebration of Dianne's life will be noon Saturday at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Rd. Visitation will be 2-8 p.m. Friday and 10 a.m. Saturday prior to the service.
