Arthur A. Morrissette, 69, of 788 Fourth Avenue, Berlin, died Saturday morning, July 23, at his home. He was born in Berlin on April 27, 1936, the son of Phil and Mary Ann (Bosa) Morrissette and has been a lifelong resident. He was a member of St. Joseph Church, now known as Good Shepherd Parish, and the Knights of Columbus 4th Degree where he was Past Grand Knight. Morrissette was also a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles. He was self-employed as a barber for 46 years. Members of the family include his wife Phyllis (Rooney) Morrissette of Berlin; four daughters Celia Morrissette and fiance Keith Johnson of Hoboken, N.J., Donna Russo of Waterville, Maine, Liza Aldrich and her husband Richard of Berlin, and Lynda Arsenault and her husband Roland of Berlin; a son David Morrissette and his wife Loretta of Berlin; 12 grandchildren; two sisters Sr. Cecile Morrissette, Presentation of Mary of New Ipswich, and Sr. Rachel Morrissette, Presentation of Mary of Manchester; a brother Roger Morrissette and his wife Jackie of Shelburne; aunts; uncles; nieces; nephews and cousins. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, July 26, at 11 a.m. at St. Anne Church of Good Shepherd Parish in Berlin. Interment will be in the Holy Family Cemetery in Gorham. Relatives and friends may call at the Bryant Funeral Home, 180 Hillside Avenue in Berlin, on Monday afternoon and evening from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m.
