WAYNE - Anthony Salvatore, 73, of Wayne, died Jan. 26, 2012. Salvatore was born Jan. 31, 1938 in Newark, the son of the late Antonio and the late Virginia (Lardiere) Salvatore. He was the owner and operator of the Preakness Pharmacy in Wayne for 23 years, retiring in 2001. Salvatore is survived by his wife of 50 years, Fay (Marino); children Tony and his wife Marianne, Jerry Salvatore, Gina and her husband Andrew Denyer, Fay Salvatore and Annmarie and her husband Dr. Norman Hetzler; 19 grandchildren; and brothers Gerald and his wife Gladys and Daniel.
