Avis de décès de Anna Ward

Funeral will be 2 p.m. Sunday at Village Chapel for Anna Suttles Ward, 80, Gadsden, who died May 19, 2010. The Rev. David Carroll will officiate. Burial will be at Rainbow Memorial Gardens. Village Chapel Funeral Home and Cremation Services is in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Ward was formerly of Griffith, Ga. She was a member of Glad Tidings Assembly of God Church, where she received an award for outstanding teacher of young children. She was most recently a member of Malone Baptist Church. She was an insurance agent for 40 years working at Alfa, American General and Liberty National. She loved to paint and read. She was a lovely person with a lot of friends who will miss her dearly. She was preceded in death by her husband, "Buck" Ward; parents, Steve and Ida Suttles; nine sisters; and five brothers. She is survived by her sister, Kathleen Durham; and numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive flowers or memorials may be made to Malone Baptist Church Building Fund. Pallbearers will be Edgar Suttles, Don Durham, Jae Stone, Mike Boyd, Jimmy Moore and Freddie McGriff. Honorary pallbearers will be deacons of Malone Baptist Church. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 this evening at the funeral home.
