STRAND, Pastor Ann Pastor Ann Strand, was born Ann Sather on March 7, 1930, in Mondovi, Wisconsin, USA. She died on Friday, May 7, 2010 in her home in White Rock, British Columbia, Canada. Known as Annie by her late husband Jack and others who loved her, she is survived by her sisters: Iva (Milo), Mary and Marj (Wayne) and sister-in-law Ellen Marie (Lyle) and 5 children: Erik (Deborah), Karin, Kristin (David), Kathy (Paul), Beth (Blake) and grandchildren: Jeffrey (Kristine), Jeremy (Amber), Naomi, Jacob (Anna), Joseph (Emily), and Jack. She is also survived by step-grandchildren: Lisa, Jason (Nancy), Bryna (Bob), Alex, Christine, Elise (Stefan); and great-grandchildren: Kieran, Meghann, Nicholas, Thomas, Tristan and Avery and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. Ann was preceded in death by husband Jack, parents Martin and Marion and granddaughter Kira Ruth. A public viewing and funeral service will be held Wednesday, May 12, 2010 at First Lutheran Church in Vancouver. The address is 5745 Wales Street.
