ANDREWS Andrew Matthew 1922 - 2009 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing away of Andrew Matthew Andrews in his 87th year on October 06, 2009 at Peace Arch Hospital, White Rock. He is survived by his loving wife, Florence (ne?e Grippo) and seven children: Tony, John (Marian), Andy (Christine), Vince (Barb), Michael (Trudy), Jordan (Janise) and Maria (Bruce) Funston. He will also be missed by his fifteen grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Andrew was a World War II naval veteran and following the war worked as a transit operator for fourty-one years. The funeral mass will be held at Star of the Sea Catholic Church, 1153 Fir Street, White Rock, B.C. on Tuesday, October 13, 2009 at 9:00 a.m. The burial will follow immediately at the Garden of Gethsemani at 15800 - 32nd Avenue, Surrey, B.C.
