ALLAN, Alvin John. Unexpectedly, after a lengthy illness, in hospital, Perth, on Wednesday, September 8th, 2004, Alvin John Allan. Husband of the late Muriel (Howe) Allan in his 83rd year. Son of the late Lloyd and Jessie Allan and stepson of the late Charlotte Allan. Loved stepfather of Sheila (late Peter) Hawley of Smiths Falls. Grandfather of Tanya (Ken) Tweddle of Frankville and Cynthia (Philip) Martin of Smiths Falls. Dear brother of Jean (late Donald) VanAlstine of Maberly, Viola (late Mallory) Shaw of Joyceville, Clifford (late Mary) Allan, and the late Eva (George) Ash, Merville (Betty) and Kenneth Allan. He will be fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, great nieces, nephews, family and friends. At Alvin's request, family and friends are invited to gather for a service at the graveside in St. Stephen's Cemetery, Brooke on Saturday, September 11th, 2004 at 1:30 P.M. A reception will follow in St. Stephen's Church Hall following the interment. In remembrance, contributions to St. Stephen's Cemetery Memorial Fund would be appreciated.
