Alma Dumais Nadeau LaFrance, 90, widow of Edmond LaFrance, of Southern Oaks Assisted Living, died Aug. 12, 2006.A native of Fort Kent, Maine, daughter of the late Joe and Eugenie Raymond Dumais, she was a homemaker and of the Catholic faith. Her first husband was the late Ludger Nadeau.Surviving are four daughters, Mona Landers of Greer, Louella Riley of Tilton, N.H., Nancy Herbst and Betty Taylor, both of Manchester, Conn.; three sons, Norman Nadeau of Greenville, Richard Nadeau of Canaan, Maine, and Brent Nadeau of Belton, S.C.; one sister, Mona Burge of Vidalia, Ga.; 20 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; and several great-great-grandchildren.Mrs. LaFrance was predeceased by a son, Dean Nadeau.Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday at Wood Mortuary. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.Visitation will be held 7 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday at Wood Mortuary.The family is at the home of the son, Norman Nadeau, 11 Yorkshire Drive, Greenville, SC, 29615.Memorials may be made to Lee Road Baptist Church, 1503 E.
