GALLANT, Aline The death occurred peacefully, while surrounded by her family, at the Prince County Hospital on Tuesday, January 21, 2003, of Aline Gallant, beloved wife of Clair Gallant of Cape Egmont, at the age of 70 years. She is the daughter of the late Cyrus E. and Albina (nee Arsenault) Gallant. She is survived by her loving husband, Clair, and cherished sons and daughters, Melva (Ron) Gallant of Mont-Carmel; Corinne (Norman) Gallant of Cape Egmont; Hermine (Eric) Gallant of St. Nicholas; Edna (Camille) Richard of Cape Egmont; Raymond (Simonne) of Cape Egmont; Yvon (Juliette) of Cape Egmont; Paul (Janice) of Mont-Carmel; Simon (Nathasha) of Mount Pleasant; Leonce (Susan) of Kensington; and Michel of Ottawa. Also survived by 17 grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and brothers and sisters, Agnes (Gussie) Gallant, Amand (Marie Anne) Gallant, Zella Allen, Bertha Deveau, Louise (Ron) Kolpine, Andre Gallant, Joe (Della) Gallant and John Gallant; and by in-laws, Faustin (Evelyne) Gallant and Marguerite (Joseph) Gallant. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her brothers, Edward and Fidele C.; and sister, Eveline; and by one great-grandchild, Brandon Elland. Resting at the Evangeline Funeral Home until Saturday, then to Notre Dame du Carmel Church, Mont-Carmel, for funeral mass at 10:30 a.m. Visitation shall be received on Friday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. only. She was a member of the Wellington Royal Canadian Legion and also a member of the Club d'Age d'Or of Mont-Carmel. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations to the P.E.I. Lung Association would be greatly appreciated. Entombment will be in the church receiving vault.
