Avis de décès de Alice-R. Angers

CHICOPEE - Alice R. (Angers) Gagnon, 85, died Friday April 15 at a local nursing home. She was born in Holyoke September 19, 1919, the daughter of the late Stanislaus and Evelina (Fournier) Angers. She attended local schools and was a long time resident of the Willimansett section of Chicopee. She is survived by her husband of sixty-one years Richard W. Gagnon, three sons, Raymond and his wife Joan of Southampton, Leonard and his wife Mary of Ludlow, and Roger of Chicopee. She also leaves two brothers, Leonard Angers of Florida, and Ronald Angers of Holyoke, and one sister, Claire Witkos of Rhode Island. She will be sadly missed by eleven grandchildren and two great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by three brothers, Ernest Angers, Raymond Angers, and Roland Angers and two sisters, Yvette Sicard and Irene LaRose. Funeral services will be Thursday April 28 at 9am from the Arthur J. Brunelle Funeral Home, 811 Chicopee St., followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 10am at Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church, both in the Willimansett section of Chicopee. Burial will be in St. Rose de Lima Cemetery. Calling hours at the funeral home are Wednesday from 4 – 7pm.
