November 9, 2007 Alice Murray Barron, 78, of Mottville, died Friday, November 9, 2007. Born in Skaneateles Falls, she lived in Mottville for 54 years. She was a communicant of St. Mary's of the Lake Church in Skaneateles and was a graduate of Skaneateles High School, Class of 1947. She was a dedicated wife and mother and an accomplished vocalist; she loved to swim and be outdoors in the sunshine. Surviving are her husband, William D. Barron; five children, Thomas W., Gerald F., David A. and Daniel J. Barron, all of the Mottville, Skaneateles Falls area, and her daughter, Tammy L. McCormick of the island of Oahu, Hawaii; and five grandchildren, Arthur W., Melinda S., Brandon M., Alyssa F. and Clayton B. Services will be held 9 a.m. Tuesday at Robert D. Gray Funeral Home, Skaneateles, and at 9:30 a.m. in St. Mary's of the Lake Church. Burial in St. Mary's Cemetery. Calling hours are 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at the funeral home, 49 Jordan St. Contributions may be made to American Cancer Society.
