Alice M. Anderssenof OwegoAlice M. Anderssen, 89, of Owego, passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 23, 2006, at her home. Mrs. Anderssen was predeceased by her husband, Ralph I. Anderssen; brothers, Joseph and Maynard Perry; sister, Hazel Gosnell. She is survived by her children and their spouses, Ralph and Bonnie Anderssen, Owego, Harry Anderssen Sr., Owego, Louise and Jerry Henderson, Owego, Kathy and George Clark, Middletown Springs, VT; 15 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren; brother and sister-in-law, Albert and Laura Perry, Virginia; sister, Ethel "Dolly" Maybry, Plattsburgh; several nieces, nephews; and her dear friend and care provider, Sandy Carbone.Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, December 27, at 11:00 a.m. at the Estey, Munroe & Fahey Funeral Home, 15 Park St., Owego, with her grandson, H. Robert Anderssen, Pastor of the Community Baptist Church of Apalachin, officiating. Burial will follow in the Tioga Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 10 to 11 a.m. prior to the services at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made in Alice M. Anderssen's memory to the American Cancer Society- Tioga Unit, or Hospice at Lourdes.
