MATTHEW _ Alfred "Clive" On February 3, 2008, Alfred Clive Matthew of Birchcliff, Alberta passed away at the age of 78 years. Alfred is survived by his loving wife of fifty-two years, Doreen; children, Jill (Kevin), Douglas (Pam) and Glen (Helen); grandchildren, Jesse, Janine, Janessa, Julia and Kalli; cousin, Norman (Lorrie); Aunt Jean; and many friends. He was predeceased by his parents, Alfred and Maude Matthew. Clive will be forever loved and sadly missed by his family and friends. Clive was born on November 9, 1929. A graduate of the Central High School in Calgary, he continued his studies at the University of Alberta and received a Bachelor of Commerce degree in 1953. He joined Henderson, Waines and Anderson, which merged with Price Waterhouse, and obtained his Chartered Accountant designation in 1957. Clive joined Mackenzie, Sheridan and Company in Red Deer and was admitted to the Partnership in 1958. Later, he became the senior partner of the firm Matthew, Craig, Davies, Collins, retiring in 1994. Honoring Clive's request, a private family Funeral Service will be held.
