Peacefully in hospital, Perth on Wednesday, March 12th, 2003, Alfred L. Allan (veteran of WWII, Light Infantry Kent Regiment) in his 85th year. Beloved husband of Aline (Provost) Allan; predeceased by his first wife Joan (Calvard) Allan. Loved father of Shirley (Rae) Code of R.R.#6 Perth and the late Lloyd Allan. Cherished grandfather of Clark (Donna) Code of Oxford Mills, Sarah (Greg) Beesley of Perth and David (Pauline) Code of Adam's Lake; great-grandfather of Austin, Lindsay and James. Dear brother of Henry (Geraldine) Levac and Jim (the late Stella) of Kingston, Walter of Rideau Ferry Country Home, Margaret (Ron) Conkey of Toronto and the late Hazel Munroe, Marshall, Lloyd, Stewart, John and Hugh Allan. Friends may pay their respects at the Blair & Son Funeral Home, Perth, Tuesday March 18th, 2003 from 10:00 a.m. until service in the chapel at 12 noon.
