Aime G.Morin, 88, North Brookfield, MA, died Saturday, August 30, 2009. He was predeceased by his wife of 58 years, Isabel (Norton) Morin in 2004. He leaves six children: Kathleen Mundell & her husband, Richard, West Virginia; Paul & his wife, Joyce; Raymond & his wife, Janet; Timothy & his wife, Anne; Mary Ellen Tsihlis & her fiance, David Crevier, all of North Brookfield, MA; and William & his wife, Diane of Holden; 23 grandchildren; and 29 great-grandchildren. He was born in Pawtucket, RI. The son of the late Hormidas & Malvina (Marchand) Morin and lived here for 37 years and Florida for 25 years following retirement. He was a World War II Navy veteran serving as a flight instructor with the rank of Ensign. Throughout his life he took great pride in his family and country. Aime worked for Johnson & Johnson as a salesman for 35 years retiring in 1982. He served as Civil Defense Director, chairman of the School Committee, all here in North Brookfield. During retirement he traveled with the Avion Travelcade and became its international president. The family would like to thank for their loving care & tenderness the Hospice Staff, Harmony Unit & the Home Staff at Notre Dame Du Lac. A memorial service for Aime will be held on Saturday, October 3, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. in St. Josephs Church, 296 Main St., North Brookfield. Burial in Walnut Grove Cemetery.
