MILNER, Stancil Elizabeth (Wallace) - In loving memory of Stancil Elizabeth (Wallace) Milner, 88 years, who passed away Friday morning, March 24th, 2006 at the Sudbury Regional Hospital - St. Joseph's Health Center. Born in Sudbury, she worked as a waitress, bookkeeper and domestic engineer. Stancil was active at St. Paul's United Church, with Tops (Lively) and was a past leader of girl guides and brownies. She enjoyed camping, hunting, fishing, bowling and spending time at Trout Lake. Stancil was an avid traveller to Hawaii, the United Kingdom, France and across Canada. She kept a special place in her heart for the West End. Stancil will be lovingly remembered as a fun loving, outgoing people person, who always enjoyed the sound of laughter. She was an excellent cook and devoted herself to her family. Beloved wife of 60 years to Arthur Osborne Milner predeceased 1996. Loving mother of Inez (husband Garnet Daye predeceased) of Dartmouth, Earlene (husband Roy Nicholson) of Waterdown and Dr. Curt (wife Jeannie) of Sudbury. Cherished grandmother of Paul (Kim Nicholson) of Fort Frances, Laura (Jarman Joerres) of Sterling, Mass., Glen (Mary Nicholson) of Burlington, Neil Milner (Kathryn) of Sudbury, Kerry (Daryll Cairns) of Clearwater, B.C., Garnet Daye of Dartmouth, N.S., and great-grandchildren Dylan, Ben, Aiden, Jack, Sawyer, Patrick, Alexandra and Paige. Dear daughter of Edward and Pearl (Costello) Wallace both predeceased. Predeceased by brother Earl Edward. Sadly missed by canine pal Missy. Resting at the LOUGHEED FUNERAL HOME, 252 Regent St. at Hazel St. Funeral Service in the St. Paul's United Church, 131 Regent St., Tuesday, March 28th, 2006 at 11 a.m. Interment in the Civic Cemetery.
