Avis de décès de Ruth S. Hancock

MEDWAY Ruth S. Hancock, 82, of Medway passed away Monday, May 26, 2008. Born in Stockbridge, she was the daughter of the late Henry and Amy (Snell) Harrington. She was the wife of John Hancock, who passed in 2003. She was in the Coast Guard, a Girl Scout leader and was a member of the Fish Program. She taught Sunday School and had been active with many other activities at West Medway Community Church. She is survived by two daughters, Ruth A. and Lynn M. Hancock, both of Medway; and one brother, Henry W. Harrington of Shrewsbury. Visitation will be held Thursday from 5 to 7 p.m., at Chesmore Funeral Home, 854 Washington St. (Rte. 126), Holliston. A funeral service will be held Friday at 11 a.m. at West Medway Community Church. Burial will follow in Oakland Cemetery. Donations in her memory may be made to Purr-fect Cat Shelter Inc. P.O.
