WALLACE, Robert Gordon (Bob) - In his 78th year passed away at the Cambridge Memorial Hospital on June 1st, surrounded by his loving family. Will be missed by his beloved friend Mary Kelly and her son John; Donna Doogan-Wallace and their children Linda Rickwood (Mike), Patricia Nichol, Timothy, Arlene James (Dan), David (Dennis), Robert and Susan Wallace and fondly remembered by fourteen grandchildren. Predeceased by his parents Gordon and Jessie Wallace. Bob came to Cambridge as a young man working at Mayfarm and Nursery, Cherry Flour Mill and Sheldon Engineering. He later operated Wallace Landscaping Service and in retirement he continued on with a small firewood operation. In earlier years Bob was involved with Cambridge Ringette Teams and recently became a life member of the Clan Wallace Society. We thank Dr. James Gowing and staff at the Medical Day Care Centre as well as Dr. Paul Szpakowski and the 5th floor hospital staff for their kind and patient care. Visitation will be held at COUTTS FUNERAL HOME, 96 St. Andrews Street, Cambridge on Thursday from 2-4 p.m. & 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held from the Coutts Chapel on Friday at 1 p.m. followed by cremation.
