Avis de décès de Robert-Charles-Edward Macpherson

MacPHERSON, Robert Charles Edward (Bob), Suddenly, at Welland County General Hospital on Tuesday, May 4, 2004, Bob MacPherson of Fenwick and formerly of R.R. 1, St. Catharines, aged 72 years. Beloved husband of 48 years of Marie (Barrett). He is sur vived by his son Jim and his wife Julie of Florida and their children Jessica, Jillian, Jacob, Jenna, Julia and daughter-in-law Jill, wife of the late Robert Edward MacPherson (1994) and their sons Kevin and Quinn. Bob also leaves to mourn his passin g his brothers John MacPherson (Maria), Sandy MacPherson (Rosalie) and Ron Snider and sister Grace Hutchinson. Bob was predeceased by brother Ken Snider and brother-in-law Glen Hutchinson. Also dearly loved by many nieces and nephews. Bob retired fro m General Motors in 1992. His passion in life was stock car racing, both locally and NASCAR. He was one of the first to start the races at Merrittville Speedway having been involved there from its very beginning. "The checkered flag has dropped and h e ran a good race." The family will receive friends at the VINELAND CHAPEL of the TALLMAN FUNERAL HOMES, 3277 King St. on Thursday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. and again on Friday for one hour prior to the funeral service that will be held in the Chapel at 2 p.m . Interment will follow in North Pelham Cemetery.
