Rita Margaret Bonin (née Norris) June 09, 1928 - December 17, 2004 Funeral arrangements by Atlantic Funeral Home (Lower Sackville) BONIN, Rita Margaret - 76, Tantallon, passed away December 17, 2004, in QEII Health Sciences Centre. Born in Halifax, she was the daughter of the late Francis Joseph and Henrietta (Usher) Norris. She always put her family first and very much enjoyed visits from her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Many laughs were shared over cups of tea, card games and playing Yahtzee. Surviving are her children, Samuel "Sonny" (Dale), Lakeside; Fred (Carol), Halifax; Tom (Linda), Upper Tantallon; Rita Cheverie (Richard), Tantallon; Richard (Judy), Glen Haven; Lucille (John) Ethridge, Hubley; daughter-in-law, Beatrice; sisters, Frances Cooper, Dartmouth; Daisy Williams, Timberlea; 17 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Samuel Joseph; son, Paul; sister, Florence Arsenault. Visitation will take place 2-4, 7-9 p.m. today in Atlantic Funeral Home, 125 Sackville Dr., from where funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday. Burial to follow in Oakridge Memory Gardens. A reception will be held back in Atlantic Funeral Home. No flowers by request. Donations may be made to Lung Association of Nova Scotia.
