Richard David Waugh 1954-2013 The passing of Richard David Waugh of Fredericton, NB, occurred on Tuesday, January 1st, 2013 at the Doctor Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. He was 58. Born in Saint John, NB, he is the son of the late Theodore and Leta (Clarke) Waugh. Anglican by faith, Richard was a self-made entrepreneur and was known to many as the "Donair Guy". Survived by his wife of 37 years Judy (McLaughlin) Waugh, two sons, Richie (Stacey) of Fredericton, Andrew (Amanda) of Fredericton, one sister Barbara Walton (Barry), five grandchildren who were the sparkle in his eye, Marley, Audrey, Libby, Josie and Theodore "Teddy". Also surviving are several nieces and nephews. No visitation will be held at the family’s request. A funeral service will take place on Friday, January 4th at 2 PM from the Christ Church Cathedral with The Very Reverend Dean Keith Joyce officiating. Interment will take place in the Douglas Rural Cemetery in the spring. For those who wish, donations can be made to the Brendon Oreto Foundation INC, the SPCA or the charity of the donor's choice.
