TESSIER, Rene Joseph In loving memory of Rene Joseph Tessier, 79 years, of Valley East, who passed away Saturday morning, January 1st, 2005 at the Elizabeth Centre, Val Caron. He was born in Warren and he married Marcelle (Renaud) in 1945 in Toronto. A longtime resident of the Sudbury area having lived many years in Val Therese, Rene had been a miner at Frood-Stobie Mine having 37 years at INCO retiring in 1983. A proud Canadian he had served in the Canadian Army during WWII. The family would like to express their appreciation for the excellent care and support by the staff at the Elizabeth Centre especially Station #1 main floor. Beloved husband of Marcelle (Renaud) Tessier predeceased 1991. Loving father of Raymond of Toronto, Robert (partner Lucie) and Pauline both of Sudbury and Roland (wife Carol) of Newcastle. Cherished grandfather of Courtney, Kristan, Kayli, Brittany and Justin. Dear brother of 16 brothers and sisters all predeceased. Funeral Prayers in the R.J. Barnard Chapel, JACKSON AND BARNARD FUNERAL HOME, 233 Larch St., Sudbury, Monday, January 3rd, 2005 at 2 p.m. Cremation at the Park Lawn Crematorium. Donations to ICAN would be appreciated.
