(Sgt. Army Signals) In hospital at Ottawa, Ontario on Sunday, June 24, 2001. Peter leaves to mourn his wife June of Carleton Place and nine step-children and their families in Nova Scotia. He will also be missed by his former wife Sybill Ambridge of Ottawa, his son Christopher and family and daughter Susan and family. Survived by his sister Joan Lay and family of Halifax and his brother John (Pat) and family of Nepean. Nephew of Jessie Quirt and Evelyn Quirt. Predeceased by his son Peter. He will also be remembered by his friends at Mississippi Lake Camping. Friends may call at the Alan R. Barker Funeral Home 19 McArthur Avenue, Carleton Place on Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m. and on Wednesday from 2 p.m. until time of funeral service to be held in the chapel at 3 p.m. Cremation to follow.
