Avis de décès de Peter-H. Whiteside

Suddenly, on Friday, November 7, 2003, at the age of eighty-one, at Ste. Anne's Veterans Hospital (where he had been residing since returning from England in August this year). He will be sadly missed by daughter Janine and son-in-law Stuart Fraser and family, sons Justin and Christian, daughter Merete and son-in-law Guy Collins and family, niece Sherrill and her husband Jean Gregoire and family, and all of his friends. Peter had served overseas with the 17th Duke of York's Royal Canadian Hussars and was looking forward to participating in many more of the regimental functions and re-uniting with his army colleagues. He was happy to be great-grandfather to seven children. Services will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, November 14 at Collins Clarke Funeral Home, 222 Autoroute 20, Pointe Claire, QC, Exit 49, Cartier. Burial services will be held the following week at St. Edward's Church, Sutton Green, Surrey, England. Peter has requested that in lieu of flowers, donations be sent, c/o the funeral home, to the Canadian Cancer Society in honour of his beloved departed wife Faith.
