MacDonell, Patrick Kenneth “Red” Date of death: March 24, 2011 Flight Lieutenant RCAF retd. Peacefully in hospital on Thursday, March 24, 2011 with his family by his side. Son of the late Archibald MacDonell and the late Agnes Lavell. Predeceased by his loving wife Eileen Hutchinson, his brothers Vincent, Herbert, Sandford, Orville and his sister Edna. Ken is survived by his twin brother Ormond (Lefty). Beloved father of daughters Patricia, Lynda (Gary Hollingworth) and Donna (John MacManus). Dear Poppa to grandchildren Tom (Karen), Matt (Nicole), Kerry (Patrick), Jamie (Caroline) and Michael (Shannon). He will be dearly missed as great grandfather to Hannah, Talia, Kylie, Mylie, Grace, Elsie, Georgia and Rhys. Friends may call at the Westboro Chapel of Tubman Funeral Homes, 403 Richmond Road (at Roosevelt) on Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at St. John the Apostle Roman Catholic Church, 2340 Baseline Road, Ottawa on Tuesday at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Cancer Society would be appreciated.
