KEATING, Patrick Joseph St. Patrick's special "leprechaun" was called home to great celebration and jubilation on February 17, 2006 after successful temporary duty on earth. His life on earth revolved around his loving wife Pauline; daughter Carol Anne (Bob) Stevenson; sons, Paddy (Christine) of Australia, Kevin of Nanaimo and Sean of Calgary; cherished granddaughters, Kerri (Scott) Lovell, Shannon (Matthew) Bowlby, Kelly Dyck; and adored great-grandchildren, Hannah Dyck and Jude Lovell; as well as his extended family in Ireland. Patrick immigrated to Canada in 1948. Throughout his life he worked very hard, taking utmost pride in his work and making a good life for himself and his family. He retired from the Calgary Catholic School Board in 1987 after over thirty years of faithful service. The gifts of his spirit, enduring charm, wisdom, song, generosity, concern for his family, sense of humour and storytelling are his legacy and will be treasured memories by all who knew and loved him. Relatives and Friends are invited to Prayers at St. Bernadette Catholic Church (7103 - 20A Street S.E.) on Thursday, February 23, 2006 at 7:30 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Bernadette Catholic Church (7103 - 20A Street S.E.) on Friday, February 24, 2006 at 10:30 a.m., with the Rev. Jamie de los Angeles, Presider. Reception to follow in the St. Bernadette Church Hall. Graveside Service to follow at Queen's Park Cemetery.
