(Member of the Ladies Auxiliary, Branch 240 Royal Canadian Legion, Almonte) In hospital at Ottawa on Tuesday, October 14, 2003, Ila Wallace of Almonte, age 79 years. Wife of the late Milton Bandy and beloved mother of Roy and Mrs. Sharon Walters (Stephen) both of Almonte. Predeceased by her daughter, Donna Elizabeth. Dear sister of Mrs. Leona Bush, Mrs. Audrey Cross (Ken), Mrs. Bernice Tosh and Alvin (Debbie). Predeceased by 2 brothers; Wilbert and Bert. Also survived by 7 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. Friends may call at the C.R. GAMBLE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL 127 Church Street, Almonte for visiting on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and where Service will be held in the Chapel on Thursday at 2 p.m., Rev. Barry Goodwin officiating. Interment White Lake Cemetery. Donations in memory of Ila may be made to Branch 240 Royal Canadian Legion or the Heart & Stroke Foundation and would be much appreciated by her family. Legion Ladies Auxiliary will assemble for a Service in the Chapel of the funeral home Wednesday evening at 7 p.m.
