Avis de décès de Muriel-Alice Keating

At the Griffith McConnell Residence on December 20, 2001 at the age of ninety-two. Beloved daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Keating. Predeceased by her sister Beryl and her brother-in-law Vernon Iverson, and by her brother Lyle and her sister-in-law Rueith. Dearly loved aunt of Caryl Keating and Donna and Rene Muller. Special great-aunt to Katherine and Anthony Muller. Muriel Keating was an English teacher at the Montreal High School for Girls until her retirement in 1965. Teaching was the great joy of her life and she felt that each child had something unique and wonderful to be appreciated and nurtured. She remembered every student who had the good fortune to pass through her loving hands. At the request of the deceased, a private family service was held and burial followed at Mount Royal Cemetery. Donations to the Montreal Children's Hospital Foundation, 3400 de Maisonneuve West, Suite 1420, Montreal. The family wishes to thank the Griffith McConnell staff for the kindness and the respect with which she was treated throughout the past six years. The Montreal Gazette, Dec. 29, 2001
