HARPELL, Mary "Mae" (nee Shaver) Suddenly on Sunday, April 15, 2007 at the age of 82. Daughter of the late Velma Bogart and the late Bernard Shaver. Loving wife of the late Robert Harpell; Beloved mother of Brenda (Guy Lavergne) of Orleans and Mary Ann (Andre Neveu) of Nepean. Cherished grandmother of Christien, Paul and Robert. Devoted great-grandmother of Joshua, Xavier, Jacob and Desiree. Sister of Phyllis Price, Bernadette Girden and Reginald Shaver. Predeceased by her sister Joyce Larmour and her grandson Stephan. Friends may call at First Memorial Funeral Services (259 St. Patrick St. at Dalhousie) on Tuesday from 2-5 and 7-10 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Brigid's Church (Cumberland at St. Patrick) on Wednesday at 10:00 am. Followed by Interment at Notre Dame Cemetery. The family wishes to extend their thanks for the great care and professionalism provided by the 2nd floor staff of Medex Nursing Home. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer's Association or Parkinson Society would be greatly appreciated.
