Mrs. Mary Christina Levy September 11, 1924 - November 13, 2008 - 84, passed away peacefully at Northwood Centre on November 13, 2008. She was a daughter of the late John and Mabel (D'Eon) MacPherson. Mary was predeceased by her husband, Clifford. She is survived by sons, David (Judy), Upper Tantallon; and Ken (Laura), Porters Lake; daughters, Sharon (John) Henriksson, Dartmouth; Doris, Halifax; 12 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and sister, Nan Macdonald, Antigonish. Mary worked for many years at Simpsons in Halifax. Cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation by family request. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, November 19, at 2 p.m. in Atlantic Funeral Home, 771 Main St., Dartmouth, followed by burial in Dartmouth Memorial Gardens. A reception will follow in the funeral home reception centre. Family flowers only. Donations in Mary's honour may be made to Alzheimer Society of Nova Scotia.
