Mary C. (McGee) Auger, 83,of Wells, Maine formerly of Marlborough, MA for most of her life died Tuesday (Nov. 1, 2011) at Kennebunk Nursing and Rehab. Center in Kennebunk, ME after a lengthy illness. She was the wife of the late D. Richard Auger who died in 1991. She leaves her children Ellen M. Auger of Wells, ME with whom she made her home, Barbara A. Daley and her husband Bill of West Boylston, MA, Nancy J. Talalas and her husband Lenny of Kingston, MA, Susan C. DiLauro and her husband Ken of Hudson, MA and David P. Auger and his wife Marie of Marlborough, MA. Also leaves two sisters Anne Rowe of Burlington, MA and Carol McGee of Wells, ME and five grandchildren: Brian Daley, Caitlin Daley, Virginia Kales, Jessica Auger and Rachel Auger and one great granddaughter Eva Andrade. Sister of the late Jean Sneddon who died in 1989. She was born in Marlborough, MA daughter of the late Walter E. and Minnie G. (Dumas) McGee and moved to Wells, ME several years ago to live with her daughter and be close to the ocean. She was a graduate of Marlborough High School. For several years she was employed by the former New England Telephone Co. as an operator. She was a homemaker and also was an accomplisher seamstress and enjoyed knitting. Funeral services will be held at NOON Friday (Nov. 4, 2011) in the John P. Rowe Funeral Home Inc., 57 Main St., Marlborough, MA. Burial follows in Evergreen Cemetery, Marlborough, MA. Calling hours prior to services on Friday from 10 A.M. to Noon.
