WEBBER, Mary Amelia "Jimmy" (nee Sheehan). was born in Campbelton, New Brunswick on October 21, 1904. She was fourth of five children born to William Zenon Sheehan and Mary-Elizabeth St Croix. She and her family moved to the Montreal area when she was two and lived one hundred years in the city she loved. She passed away quietly in her sleep on November 10. Jimmy, as she was known to her friends. She was the toast of Montreal as a Flapper in the 20's and she never lost her sense of humor or love of life. She even tried motor cycle riding with her grand-daughter at the age of eighty. In the 1920 she married Ernest Webber. Together they had one child, Joyce Eileen Webber Taylor who passed away in 1996. She will be sadly missed by her son-in-law, Wm C. Taylor, of Bradenton Florida, 4 grandchildren, Mary-Elizabeth "Tull" Taylor of New York City, Jackee Shepherd of Smithfield, RI, Jane H. Taylor of Franklin, MA, William C Taylor II of Leominster, MA, and by her 4 nephews and many very close friends. The family would like to thank the staff of the Queen Elizabeth Nursing Home who provided loving care for Grandma in her last days. A service will be held at Collins Clarke Funeral Home on 5610 Sherbrooke Street West at 2 p.m., Saturday November 18. Published in the Montreal Gazette on 11/15/2006
