Margaret Cecile Duplantis, 79, a native and resident of Thibodaux, died at 1:03 p.m. Wednesday, June 15, 2005.Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to funeral time Saturday at St. Luke Catholic Church in Thibodaux. Mass will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the church, with burial in St. Joseph Cemetery in Thibodaux.She is survived by three sons, Wilton L. Duplantis Jr., Daniel Duplantis, and Paul Emery Duplantis, all of Thibodaux; one daughter, Mary Elizabeth Fletcher of Thibodaux; two brothers, Dan Mack Jr. and Charles Mack, both of Thibodaux; one sister, Catherine Mack of Thibodaux; 10 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.She was preceded in death by her husband, Wilton L. Duplantis Sr.; her parents, Dan Mack Sr. and Mable Mack; one son, Eric Charles Duplantis; and her grandparents, Lawrence and Cecile Jules.She was a parishioner of St. Luke Catholic Church.
